Environmental connection &
artistic purpose
• Focus on human connection with nature and recycled materials
• Create environmental works that reveal the form and internal textures of materials
• Use discarded wood and bring it back to artistic life
• Projects demonstrate the metamorphosis, change of form and the natural spirit of materials
In her work, Sara Sassani has a special focus on observing and discovering the natural patterns and textures of wood. Using abandoned wood and natural materials, she reveals the inner role and story of the materials and establishes a direct connection between humans and nature. Metamorphosis, or the transformation of materials into living, narrative works, is a central element of her work. Her works are a fusion of traditional and modern techniques, and by observing environmental principles and paying attention to detail, they create a unique experience for the audience. She has demonstrated her commitment to continuous growth and advancement in art by actively participating in professional courses and completing a four-year specialized program in sculpture and relief.

The Timeless
Beauty of Wood
Wood is more than a material—it is a storyteller. In architecture, it shapes spaces with warmth, rhythm, and natural harmony.
In art, it becomes a canvas for creativity, crafting narratives that reflect both nature and human emotion. In home décor, wood brings a sense of calm, balance, and timeless beauty, transforming any space into a unique and inviting sanctuary.
Every piece I create celebrates the inherent character of wood—its textures, grains, and colors—turning functional design into living art full of feeling and personal identity.
Discover the beauty, feel the warmth, and experience spaces that live through wood.

About
Me!
I love music, nature, yoga, and teamwork. Walking in nature and understanding all its secrets and mysteries polishes my soul and gives me a new birth.
All my efforts have been aimed at building self-esteem. Because having self-esteem is essential for every human being. Sometimes I dance while listening to music, and in my solitude, I see signs that contain hopeful messages.
I adore rock, jazz, blues, and pop styles more, and I also listen to Iranian music with all my heart. Life for me is shaped by walking in nature, and love for family and wood, along with having loyal friends, shape my personality.
I love poetry and I believe in love so much that I think it was the initial core of the world. No factor other than love could have created this amount of beauty. I am a powerful illustrator and I make the most of this feature to create my works. The world is nothing without love.
Humans, as Mehdi Akhavan Sales said, must move with their shadows, falling and rising, and create a loyal shadow. I and my loyal shadow will breathe with wood forever.
My extreme love for nature and mountains led me to move towards wood. In this field, I completed professional training and after a suitable period of time, I started my own workshop under the Kahur brand. My working rule was not to harm the trees. So I moved towards the wood that was selected for burning and in this regard, I started making regular geometric pieces.
But due to a certain change of perspective and after attending Master Taghizadeh’s classes, wood carving and sculpture were also added to my work. Learning never ends and Master Taghizadeh’s teachings continue to show themselves in my work. SMART goals and my vision give me energy and I confidently speak of a progressive future that will be innovative and special, serving nature.
